If you feel excited to give us something in addition to your loving presence in our year and celebrations, here are some ideas:
1. Leigh Williams, friend and Hudson Valley neighbor, makes amazing things out of clay. We spent an afternoon in her living room drooling over plates and bowls and other things she's made. Email her directly if you'd like to buy one of her pieces.
2. Another potter, Ayumi Horie (used to live here in the Hudson Valley, now is back in Portland, Maine), has a couple of bowls and cups we love, too.
3. We found a couple of things we could use (candles in the shape of bees!) on Etsy. You can find those here.
4. If none of these ideas appeal, and you're dying to help, consider a donation to our future house fund?
But seriously, we just want to enjoy celebrating with you, whenever we next get to see you. So don't think too hard about gifts.
